JOTA was a great success. Dennis VK4VTK, Waratah VK4BQ, Jasmine VK4TN, Bruce VK4AK and David VK4LOD were all there. Scout groups were rotated between Jasmine and David on HF, and Waratah and Dennis on D-Star. Dozens of scouts got to try amateur radio, and spoke with other groups from Brisbane, Sydney, Newcastle, and the Tablelands. There was some trouble with the club power supply in the afternoon, but Bruce saved the day with a spare that he brought with him. After the event, JOTA-JOTI Event Coordinator Dougal McWhinney presented the club with a certificate of appreciation. Everyone did a great job and had a good time.
